We were so fortunate to be surrounded by our lovely family members and friends. We have so many funny memories to look back on all of the debauchery at the nijikai, and sanjikai, living in an apartment without furniture for 3 months, frequenting the pan-ya, and lawsons, Kayvan's story, getting to know eachother more in one of the most bizarre of countries.
Soon after the wedding Yohei and I were off to our honeymoon in Hawaii, we had an amazing time, relaxing at the beach, we shopped, we snorkeled, we went to a luau and, drumroll, we made our very first baby (and she is still in the oven) as of today I am 32 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and it has been quite a ride.
Yohei is currently working for the NY Yankees in a position that every guy and sports fanatic would call a "dream job." However, someone like me who is not into baseball but 100% into Yohei would consider this job, less optimal.

Basically Yohei gets to travel around with a pitcher from the NY Yankees as his Japanese interpreter, he gets his own locker, gets to train with the team, gets to go into the clubhouse and sit with all the players in the dugout. And because Yohei is such a team oriented guy from playing soccer at CAL, of course he fits right in. He has even made life a lot easier for the player he interprets for. I am really proud of all of his accomplishments but I can't lie, I wish he was here with me now and I miss him terribly.
Since I am already 8 months pregnant, travel is pretty much out of the question. I was able to spend 1 1/2 months with my beloved Yohei in Tampa, FL for the Yankees spring training from February to April. I then spent another 2 months with Yohei from May to July. During this time we got to travel all around the east coast, to New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. I was between 5 - 7 months pregnant.

Here I am at 28 weeks!

Here is a picture of us, I am about 29 weeks pregnant and Yohei is wearing his Yankees uniform! They had special red uniforms that day to honor a baseball tradition. This photograph was actually taken towards the end of one of the longest baseball games I have ever had to sit through. It was a "double header" the first game lasted 10 innings, and the 2nd game didnt even start until 10pm, then lasted another 7 innings. I was definitely baseballed out.

Here we are at Niagara Falls, I am 29 weeks pregnant. Even though I was born in Canada 45 minutes away from Niagara Falls, I had never seen it. We visited the American side, it was so breathtakingly beautiful, I've heard the Canadian side is even better, I hope Yohei and I can go back someday, with our baby of course.

Here is the real kicker, this was taken a couple days ago, at the start of my 8th month. Its amazing how much my stomach has expanded. Even as I am finishing up this entry, I can feel our precious baby moving around in my stomach and am amazed at the miracle of life. I am still exercising, going to yoga and enjoying this time when my unborn little girl and I are still "one."
Wonderful wedding pictures!!
