I'll be 34 weeks pregnant this week and I have had some serious nesting instincts. I went to a newborn care class on Saturday that lasted 3 hours. I learned how to give sponge baths, change diapers, comfort, swaddle, and recognize signs of illness. Overall the class was very useful, I took a lot of notes to pass on to Yohei. The only problem with the class was that the mock babies were scary looking...

Here is a picture of the mock baby I was working with, see how he/she is so nicely swaddled? I did that myself, I also changed this babies diaper, but you can't tell.
In addition to taking newborn care classes, my parents and I went to buy a crib, changing table and set of drawers yesterday. My dad spent all day setting them up, I helped a bit, by the end of the day we were both exhausted but finished the drawers and changing table.

Here is my Dad with the drawers. I'm excited to start washing, folding, and organizing into the drawers all of the clothes and other items we've purchased.

Here we are with the changing table. My Mom was commenting on how huge it is, you could fit a 5 year old child on this changing table. We will certainly get a lot of use out of it.
