Keila at 11 months

Wow Keila has been growing up so fast. I have accumulated so much footage of her throughout these past 11 months, I don't even know what to do with it all, (aside from store it on a hard drive of course).

九月はとても急がしい。ケイラの誕生日は九月２５日、そしてケイラの友達たちも九月の誕生日が多いです。　It’s hard to believe how fast time as gone by. It seems like just a couple of weeks ago I was blogging about my pregnancy. Now I'm blogging about my baby turning 1.　 It’s sad in a way; she is no longer a baby! She won't let me hold her in the "cradle" position anymore.

But change is inevitable and it’s also great.ケイラの一番好きなものは本と私の料理とドーナッツです。 OK I know I should not be giving her donuts but she looked so hungry and I just gave her a little piece from the fluffy center not the outside fried part.

Anyways, here are the plans for this month.　今日はケイラの友達JACOBの誕生日なのでGYMBOREEでのパーティーに行きます。明日はSOMERの誕生日パーティーなのでPFCHANGSにいきます。来週はJONATHANとNANAEの結婚式でLAとOCにいきます、 then the Saturday after is Keila's birthday and the following Sunday is Kai's birthday!

私はCPAの試験が遂に終わりました！ I know for sure that I passed 3 and I am waiting on the results of the final one that I took on August 31).　　With all of this extra time I have, 勉強しないでI've decided to learn how to bake cakes. 3 days ago I was craving a red velvet cupcake so yesterday I made a dozen and they were so delicious. The fact that my cupcakes tasted good makes me want to continue baking, and I also want to learn how to decorate a cake like a pro. I am hoping to bake Keila’s first birthday cake as a special present to her. After all it is the first cake she will ever eat and lets face it, her most favorite thing is food so it better taste good!

Beyond that I plan to start working again and I am meeting with some recruiters next week to discuss my options. Regardless of what industry I go into, I will be working in the accounting department so ideally I'd like to work for an exciting industry such as tech, entertainment, retail, or possibly for a VC. I'd like to work in an environment where everyone is motivated and productive. I'd also like to work somewhere in the Silicon Valley to avoid long commutes into San Francisco, but if the right opportunity presented itself, I may be willing to commute.

最後に、私はケイラの七月と八月のアクティビティのビデオを作りました。でも before you watch them, please do not think that Keila and I are watching TV all of the time because that is what it seems like in the videos. The reason why is because I keep our mini flip camcorder on a coffee table in the TV room, and it just so happens that I think about grabbing it and recording her when we watch お母さんと一緒in the mornings. Okaasan to Issho is a 40 minute Japanese childrens program that starts at 8:20am and ends at 9:00am Keila absolutely loves it, she gets all into it and starts dancing around and waving her hands, it is so cute!
