Keila goes winetasting at 10 months

Keila is now 10 months old. Since the last post, she has just been growing up so fast. She can stand now, she understands how to share things in Japanese, she understands some sign language as well.

Her favorite TV show is definitely Okaasan to Isshou. She loves dancing to the songs and watching the characters in MONORAN.

Her favorite food is the stew I make for her, which consists of different colored vegetables, a little bit of meat or chicken, miso and soysauce. Her favorite dessert is banana and strawberry.

Here is a picture outside of Wente winery. I had never been there before, even though its only 20 minutes away from our place.



After wine tasting I was inspired to try to cook a California wine country dinner so we had short ribs, chicken & potato salad, stuffed mushrooms and goat cheese. It was so good!



Oh yes, and it is obon season. We have been going to a lot of Japanese festivals. And just in time came a beautiful pink and red yukata for Keila form Satsuko san in Japan. Keila wore the pink yukata to the obon in Mountain View 2 weeks ago. She received many complements.








Keila also went to her first baby pool party and she looked like a little doll in her swimsuit.
