Austins First Month

Baby Austin has been a true delight.  He is on a great breastfeeding schedule, each day he nurses every 3 hours, 4am, 7am, 10am, 1pm 4pm and so on.  He drinks enough so I can get rest in between feedings.  He is also a wonderful napper.  He loves his Aiden & Anais blankets and with them can sleep almost anywhere. 

Yohei discovered an interesting way to put Austin to sleep... he places a blanket near his left cheek, this causes Austin to reach up towards the blanket with his right hand  and while doing so he manages to place his right thumb in his mouth and lull himself to sleep.  This is an awesome tactic and I think Yohei is a genius for figuring it out.

Keila has been a wonderful big sister.  She really loves Austin and is so proud of him.  She is patient when we tend to him and is always eager to help out.  If things were always this easy I would even consider having another baby.
