Birthdays and Weddings

Life with kids is never boring and June was no exception.  We had Fathers day brunch at Disneyland, Lily's princess birthday party, Maiko's Palm Springs birthday party, Kayden's train conductor party, Mika's Orlando wedding, Masashi's farewell party, field trip to Cream Pan bakery, and on top of that we managed to swing a trip to the bay area!

My parents loved the Disneyland restaurant just as much as Keila.

Lily had the most perfect princess party.  All the girls got a fabulous princess makeover complete with hair styling, a tiara and makeup.  Keila was in heaven!

 Maiko's birthday in Palm Springs was a blast.  So great to know that such a fun casino is just an hour and a half away.  We gambled a bit, went bowling, swimming, and out to eat at a nice restaurant. 

 Orlando was great, I got to be reunited with Emi & Mina and share some more fun times.  The night before the wedding, we checked into our hotel and went to a Reggae club!

Mika is such a beautiful bride.  She planned everything herself and the wedding was gorgeous.  Im so lucky to have a friend like her.  And I feel so privledged to have been a part of her wedding.

Back home went straight to Kayden's 3rd birthday party, Happy Birthday Kayden!! 

Maiko made cute lunch boxes for everyone, as you can see the kids were very pleased.

Also, Yohei (the big kid) was very pleased with the food.

The next day was Masashi's farewell party.  He was sad to be leaving the US so he decided to hold Keila but she wasn't very happy...

 Then he tried to hold Itaru - kun who was less happy.

 Takumi - kun was okay with Masashi holding him but only for 10 seconds.

 Finally Masashi decided to hold Yohei LOL

Cream Pan is one of the most popular Japanese bakeries in Orange County.  The owner allowed Keila's school to viist one morning to learn how bread is made and make their own anpan man bread.

 Finally we went back to Fremont to have a reunion with Keila's original baby group.  Everyone has grown so much!

Then we checked into our hotel room, look at this view!!

 We got upgraded to a suite and got some wine, here are some pictures Keila took of us.

 We walked form Union Square to Coit Tower, I miss SF!!!

 Then had dinner with our good friends Ken & Manami before our crazy walk back.

The next morning we continued walking around Union Square and met up with Connie, always nice to see her, even when the weather is bad she brightens things up :)
