Kodomo no hi

This year we celebrated kodomo ni hi (childrens day) with the Clarks and Nawatas.  Keila had a fantastic time eating her favorite foods, mochi and sweets.  Maiko cooks such delicious food, it was a great celebration!

Shortly after was Mothers Day, here is a picture of my present and I. 

 That day we went to the San Diego zoo.  Unfortunately Keila fell asleep for most of the day but managed to wake up just in time for the kids fountain play area.  After we went to visit Naomi & Stanley at their house in Chula Vista.  The day worked out perfectly.
