Oshogatsu!!

Yohei and I had a wonderful New Year celebration, on 12/30 we went on a mini day trip to Marin County. We had a delicious dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Robata. It was our last DATE before 2010 so we had to make it memorable. Of course Keila came and she spent her first night in a hotel room. She really loved the comfortable big bed.

On 12/31 Yohei and I went from Marin to San Francisco's Japantown. We had lunch there and walked around with Keila. I had to get some ingredients for osechi ryouri at Nijiya, it was packed. Here is a picture of Keila in front of Japan center.



On New Years we actually had a traditional breakfast. Somer and Ryuta came over and brought a lot of osechi ryouri, and I made my first ozoni ever, it came out pretty good, I must say.
