Disney Cruise
We got wrapped up in preparing for vacation, then catching up after vacation, so a 2 week vacation becomes a 1 month project. We went on a Disney cruise to Vancouver, it was so fun! I love Vancouver it is my new favorite city, one day, I want to have a summer home there, its probably wishful thinking but so many good restaurants, beautiful views, easy to walk, and felt so safe, the air felt fresh and moist - so my skin felt great. I love humid weather which I never really get here.
Keila is doing much better in soccer now that Yohei is not the coach. The strikers coaches are young college kids, with lots of energy. If kids are slacking , they shout out something to get them moving. I think Yohei always struggled with that - not like anyone really needed encouragement, but as the "parent coach" he doesn't want to push any of the limits with other moms or make Keila feel like she is being singled out.
By the way, I recently volunteered at Keila's TK class, it was the most exhausting weekday of my life. Those little kids have so much drama.
"Mrs Katie so and so is not sharing the purple marker"...
"Can you just use the blue marker"
"No I need the purple marker"
"Okay so & so can you give your friend the purple marker?"
"NO"
At that point, what do I say to purple marker possessor? If its Keila, I will say, hand it over after 1 more minute - and she will, but other kids still did not listen! I was so dehydrated and exhausted, yet I still had to go to the bathroom, and then I dropped my phone in the toilet.
