Happy Birthday Yohei! This year we had a family celebration at Kitayama.
And a friends celebration at our place. We decided to make all of Yohei's favorite foods, tonkatsu, shabu shabu and roasted chicken. The only missing food from his list was burritos.
Keila also went to Newport Beach for her first time. She was scared of the ocean. I don't blame her, the tide was really high and the waves were crashing down. Keila was visibly relieved to go back home and said she prefers the kiddie pool. I appreciate her cautious attitude, it makes my job as a parent easier.
This year my company had its summer picnic at Knotts Berry Farm. After eating we took Keila to the kiddie area where she met Snoopy and the gang! Unlike Disneyland there was not a line to take a picture, so we go to take our time and have a group photo.
