Austin 2 months- 4th of July Trip to SF

Our backyard has a pretty good view of the fireworks so this 4th of July we decided to have a small potluck party.

Around 5pm we had an unexpected backyard visitor.  This little bird wounded his leg from trying to fly into our sliding glass door (ouch).  He sat on Shane's finger for 30 minutes and let me take a picture of him.

Austin is beginning to show more personality these days.

I enrolled Keila in a cooking class. I think its really nice we are able to spend a lot of quality time together these days.  Also, the city of Irvine "kid chefs" class is worth every penny.  Each class they make a 3 or 4 course meal.  Todays menu was garlic bread, vegetable soup, meat loaf, and strawberry muffins.  Each class they have all of the ingredients ready and measured.  The kids quickly pour and mix everything, then it all goes on the stove or in the oven.  The class is at 4pm so the food Keila makes is her dinner.  These days are really enjoyable.
Austin waits patiently for his sister to cook...

This month we took a trip to San Francisco, we stayed at the Jerdee house for one day.  Jacob and Keila were really excited to see reunite.

We also visited the Sanui's, Christine & and Wakamatsu's

Austin got to spend his first night at a hotel in San Francisco.  We stayed at the JW Marriott which I loved!
Had a picnic at Dolores park with the Clarks, Sumiki, Naomi & Rob.

Cable Car, the line was sooooooooooo long and cold.  At least I can say I did it once.

Back for one last night in Fremont we met up with the Braden & Kat.  Keila played really well with Braden :)

And stopped at the kids discovery science center before driving back to Irvine.
