Keila's almost 2 months already.

It doesnt seem possible that 2 months have already passed since Keila was born. I went to Emi's birthday party with Naomi last weekend and it was almost unreal to think that I have a beautiful baby and husband at home.

I've finally started getting a handle on being a Mommy. I've met a lot of other really nice Mom's in the area. We have mom's groups and playdates, Keila is always really eager to play with the other babies.



One particular friend she has, Kai is the same ethnicity as her! We met Kai's parents, Somer and Ryuta in the hospital, Somer gave birth to Kai one day after I gave birth to Keila. Somer is also 1/2 Japanese and 1/2 White, her husband Ryuta is full Japanese. They live 5 minutes away from us. Keila is really fond of Kai, sometimes a little too excited, she has been known to get "violent" with him ;> she playfully punches him and he doesnt know what to do...


Keila has changed a lot in the past month. She loves eating, she still likes to nurse every 2 hours during the day and every 3-4 hours at night. She has a great metabolism and has gained almost 5 lbs, and now that she is plumper, everyone has started to say that she looks more like me! Even though she is only 2 months, she is already wearing clothing meant for babies 3-6 months. I took some pictures of her this morning in her new 3-6 month outfit.




Yohei has actually been working on a film production the past couple of days, but when he gets home Keila is super excited. I just took some pictures of the two of them because it was way too cute, watching their reunion. Keila is also wearing her new pajamas from Japan.
